Yes, you can convert it to/save it as an IR and use the IR on the FM3. I did this with my old Axe II for presets on my AX8. I don't have either of those anymore (or an Axe III) to tell you the specific steps, but it should be do-able. Edit: More cumbersome than I remember, but here is one...

Do any of you use your AX8 for dropping 1 step or 1/2 step in tuning?

One thing to consider, especially with the AX8, is using a Digitech Drop pedal in front for down tuning. In my experience, it has much less noticeable latency than the pitch block on the AX8, even with few other blocks running, and it frees up CPU for other things. Yeah, you have to run an...

This assumes that having a block with both X and Y states uses more CPU than the same block would with just an X state. Why do peeps use an external tuner in their rig ?

Personally, I find that the tuner on the AX8 (and the Axe FX) does not visually track as quickly as my PolyTune 2. Not a big deal, but it makes tuning slightly more difficult because I find I overcompensate while the visual display takes a bit of time to catch up to the actual pitch. Once it...

Ok, I rebuilt the AX8 preset from scratch and it looks like it's a problem with the Filter blocks. With just the amp and cab blocks active, the presets sound the same. But the filter blocks are not reacting the same way, even though they have the same settings. I don't know how to fix this...
