Axefx with xload

No reason. That was part of my question. I thought the effects were supposed to run pre power amp. As in the effects loop. I take it the effects sound better post cab post power amp?

I'm not sure if anyone has asked this, but I can't add extra presets on mine. It stops at my preset that I transferred over. I'm pretty sure all the presets aren't full. Anyone experience this?

I can't stand it. This firmware is incredible!!! Switching to the ideal compressor and then messing with the grind I can now range the whole spectrum of a muffled bouncy low end to a crisp high end. IT'S AMAZING!!!!

I own both and I feel like there are pros and cons. To me the axe feels very real and has a very smooth balanced pleasing studio sound. The kemper sounds more like a raw sound. I don't see how you can lose with either one. I feel it's more of a personal sound preference. Granted I have only...

EVH Wolf ( Special vs US ). Hmmmm

I own evh wolfgang usa and evh wolfgang custom. I also owned the japanese at one point. The nut action on the japanese was too high... It also played and felt like a toy too me. The usa model feels fast and the fret ends don't protrude. I have no regrets in paying the extra money.
