Question regarding drop-tune

No problem. I must admit that, after playing around with it some more, I find it a lot better than I remember. As long as you don't let your chords (it gets a bit wobbly), it's not bad. There's definitely a difference from the "non-shifted" sound, but it IS usable.

Question regarding drop-tune

Yes you can. The "pitch" effect-block will be able to do it (with the fixed harmonizer). I own a Morpheus Droptune, and the Axe-Fx II does it just as well but.. I don't really use it. It just doesn't sound natural, especially if you go lower than 2 half-steps. It might work fine for you, and...

Iso track

A lot of the isolated guitar/bass/drum/vocal tracks on Youtube come from Guitar Hero or Rock Band, but as far as I know, Ramble On hasn't been in any of those games. My guess is that they are using the original mixes.

Any difference between the stock Axe2 Redwirez and the ones sold separately?

Help with Heavy (hardcore/metal) tone

PC Audio through the AXE II > What am I missing?

It works for me (PC audio through Axe-FX II headphones), and I pretty much went the same route as you. Is Axe-FX II set as "standard playback unit" (I don't remember what it's called in english) in Windows sound mixer? Have you tried rebooting?

I don't think the Axe-FX II comes with a USB-cable, and I don't really know why. Might have something to with personal preference in cables? To me, pretty much any mini-USB cable is fine.

Check Out My Single Just Relased By The Label!!!! Metal, Death Metal, Metal

Just listened to it through my laptop's speakers. Sounds pretty good, but it really isn't my style of music. Some riffs and parts of the vocals reminded me a lot of The Black Dahlia Murder, a band I really enjoy. Kevin Talley is a beast, loved his drumming on Chimaira's self-titled.
