    I normally play my mp3 backing tracks through my axe, and jam over it. Now it doesn't Work "firmware 18". I loaded firmware 17 Again and it Works. could this be a bug, or arm I doing something wrong?

    have you tried another midi controller? if I use the axe-fx midi controller to mfc I get errors now I use mbox3 to mfc with 0 errors

    I made an A/B-test when I had both the axe2 and ultra. And to be honest I could not hear the difference. But axe2 has improved since then, with all the firmware updates.

    I did have the error 14 on my mfc 101, I used the midi from the axe2 Then I tryed using the midi from my mbox3 pro, and it worked the first time So try another midi controller if you have one

    In the mixer window there is a I/O "in/out" tab, select your midi device and in the "Midi event list" window, you can set the events to the number your patch has. hope this help

    I have just done this in PT8, very easy. * make a midi track * set your I/O on the track * select where you want it to change on the track * Go into Midi event list, and set it to what preset you want works on my ultra and axe2!
