Implemented 1176-Style FET Compressor (Cali76) Model

+1 on a Cali76 model And LA-3A and another great great compressor for guitar is the ADR Compex. Really does some good things to the transient.

Wish Polytone

would love to see a polytone amp model in there. My favorite one is the late 1980’s bass amp with one 15” speaker with the black plastic on/off switch and the mid eq knob. That is great for clean jazz guitar tones. Sounds like a Pinot noir compared to the Cabernet of tube amps... Thanks Kurt

it would be great if the axe could Have the hog and pog as effect blocks. Particularly interested in the attack envelope of those two pedals. The fidelity can be greatly improved over those effects as well. That would be a dream. Thanks Kurt

AxePad?

hi i just bought axepad but its not working correctly. the axe-fxII is receiving midi info but the app is not retrieving any info from the axefx. so no presets load. i am using the latest iPad and IRig midi2. any help would be appreciated, not sure if i bought an abandoned product? thanks, Kurt

cool, yeah i've been trying to find the magic MV/Input drive combo to get a totally clean sound. I have managed to get it clean but it does feel that i have almost no input to the amp and the gain staging sounds like its boosting a weak signal, which ends up sounding thin, so this doesnt end up...

in other words- I should be able to turn the volume up to at least 3 and get a clean sound if input drive is the volume control on a fender twin. on the double verb model its totally distorted with input drive at 3 and MV on 10.

Boss OC-3: Axe-Fx 2 cant do the selective octave thing. and EHX Hog2, cant do that either. everything else i use the axe-fx. k

midi out and thru broken??

i need to pass midi on other channels to other units. when i connect directly to other units using same midi cable they work. also my mastermind GT midi foot controller cant get tempo or patch names from the axe-fx. tested both out and thru ports...

So in the 2 they added Drive as a controllable parameter? It's not in the Ultra. i wonder if this could be an area of improvement... things like comp threshold and gate threshold change from night to night on tour, and EQ especially...but yeah i could use the filters for that. thanks for the...

like when you just have reverb on the guitar- why put in a seperate line? why not just use the reverb in series and manipulate the mix knob? its getting blended at the mixer anyway.... thx, k
