no output after update to OS 9, Ultra

hi, the title says it all. did the update, went fine, splash screen says version 9. getting input signal but no output. tried to find some global setting, no luck. tried to create a new simple preset. no joy. any help?

I told you guys that we'll have to hear about this issue forever. Forever I tell you, it will never end. "No volume after firmware update" will be the most popular topic for the rest of time.
