What's with the fan noise?

I haven't found that the axe fx 2 is much worse than the ultra I had but I can appreciate why some would be apprehensive. I've always found that the only way I am ever happy with the noise of a unit is to move it into a closet or something similar which is not always practical for obvious...

Axe-fx 2 for the aussies!!!

Okay so mine turned up yesterday, which meant it was three days postage from IM, which was what they had on their site. All good. I only got to tinker for less than an hour last night but I liked the ease of setup with USB, and the presets were - not perfect, but a little but rawer in some ways...

How is your MFC-101 setup?

Some may have the presets deliberately set for a rhythm/crunch/clean/solo presets as an example ( i have seen these labels on some boards) - it is another way to approach the many many options we have... rather than using the default's. In essence I am just trying to get an idea of how people...

Apart from just a personal curiousity as to how many of you are taking advantage of the MFC-101 with your axe's/other devices I am hoping that this will generate a sort of database of sorts that people can be referred to when they ask questions about whether the MFC can do this/that/the other...

Anyone Know Exactly what is going on with MFC in Australia?

well, mine turned up yesterday, after standard house crap I will plug it in today and get it going. Hopefully I'll get a 7 pin cable MIDI cable soon to get things cabled the way I want... I also need to figure out the best way to actually cable the Axe as I'll want it plugged into my computer...

Multiple MIDI devices setup

Any number of MIDI devices will do this. I personally have a TC studiokonnekt and a MOTU mtp. This works, for me, for some reason, much better on the update firmware side of things. I could probably tinker with the MOTU til the day I die and get it all working happily, but in the end I want...
