F12-X200 Full Range Live Response Speaker

Dave - loaded they're about 15kg/33lbs. Slightly less than a Mesa 1x12 Thiele cabinet which is probably a similar volume. Unlike their owner they also appear not have not consumed too much chocolate and craft beer and gained weight during lockdowns.

F12-X200 Full Range Live Response Speaker

I built a couple of the Celestion spec cabinets with the F12-X200 and they're great. It's a surprisingly detailed speaker and works really well for acoustic/nylon work as well. The ported cab has plenty of bottom end and doesn't seem boomy although I tend to roll off a bit below 100hz anyway...

Tele sound has what sounds like digital distortion

If you've got active pickups, that's a fairly common issue if the battery is flat...

    Derwin "Big D" Perkins

He's a class act and has a really, really nice touch. I accidently deleted this episode of Live at The Basement off my DVR a few months ago so eagerly awaiting some repeats on ABC. I also hope that Jon tours with the AMG again soon as I saw these guys here a few years ago and it's seriously one...

Any experiences with DIY adding a piezo bridge?

Yes... well, almost! I actually run "passive" with my guitars and the AxeFx without too many problems. With 1MOhm impedance on the AxeFx, the bass frequencies start to roll off at about 100hz for the passive piezos - I don't mind this since I'd normally roll the guitars off below 100hz at the...

Noob question...help hooking up my Liquid Foot Jr + to my Axe?

Also - make sure you're using a 7-pin midi cable. If you can't get a 7-pin cable, use 2 x 5 pin cables (AxeFX Out->LF+ In, LF+ Out to AxeFX In). This is required for anything that needs 2-way communication with the Axe (I haven't actually used the external device control on my LF+ but it...

Can I use a United States bought Axe-Fx in Australia?

Or 206v in my office thanks to the crappy substation downstairs. Our UPS's work hard...

    Axe-fx 2 for the aussies!!!

Delivered, but sitting unopened in the loungeroom while I finish off some backing tracks for a client which are overdue from last week. I suspect if I open the box they'll be delayed a little (or a LOT) further...

    IPAD Chord chart apps

I like the iKlip. My only issue is that it's designed for mic stands and doesn't quite fit onto the thicker tubing used for some music stands (which overall are a little more compact than a mic stand which is why I use them). Some grinding and filing of the iKlip sorted this out! Also -...

    IPAD Chord chart apps

I like the iRealBook application for chord charts – good for chord charts (won’t do notes or TAB so if you need more detailed charts then other applications will be better). Easy to edit once you get the hang of it, easy to update charts. Also very easy to transpose when you get thrown...

    Axe-fx 2 for the aussies!!!

Wait list is somewhere about 6-8 months at the moment but hopefully about to start to clear. NPX was probably about due anyway and Manning shouldn't be far off but Snickers may have to wait a little. Then again - just for his user name alone I think Snickers should be able to jump the queue...
