I know that's there, but tweaking the tone controls of the amp is not the same thing, though. You're right that the global controls are in there - I was just suggesting a way to surface that same functionality in a way that users of the FR-12/10 seem to find useful.

Same experience here. I just plugged in a Zendrive to the input and pushed up the output volume on the pedal, and I was definitely getting the input meters into the red at that point, but didn't see any "Clip" indicator on the micro tuner, and the meter on the A/D Sensitivity didn't seem to hit...

Very nice update! Thank you! The bass feels different...almost like some compression is off it, making it more manageable. I find that the hardness parameter in the preamp tubes does more what I expect it to now, in a really good way.

Dedicated FRFR (Red Sound) vs. Standard Wedge via Mixer Aux?

I use my PXM's as backline at some gigs (especially small gigs where I don't trust the house PA), and use a PXM or Yamaha DXR10 as a floor wedge when we aren't running IEM's. I may be more tolerant of less bass than most guitar players since I'm also a FOH engineer, but no, I don't feel I lack...

Looking for an affordable FRFR floor monitor for Fractal FM9

You might try to find a used Yamaha DXR8 or DXR10. Nexo FIR processing, good power, useful for more than just a wedge.
