iPad USB Audio/MIDI Driver for Axe-Fx II

Hey all, Sorry to resurrect a dead thread but I haven't found much info on this elsewhere. Does anyone know if an Arduino or Teensy board (of which I have a few lying around) would do the trick or is it specifically a RPi task? Cheers!

Works fine on a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20. Nice to know it's definitely not the Axe-Fx.

I agree that should be the case, hence the head-scratching. Reinstalled Saffire Pro 14 driver but still no fix. Will test on friends' interfaces asap and report findings 🤷‍♂️

Thanks again, guys. I've already got Touch OSC on the iPad which Max communicates with from the laptop, meaning MIDI control of the iPad is already sorted if I'm happy to set and forget. Therefor maybe an iRig or Rode SC6 to get AxeFx or MBP sound into the iPad if I really insist on taking this...

Wish Can we PLEASE get back the old Looper control behavior?

Hi guys, did this get resolved? Should be that a value of 0-63 tells the looper to stop recording and that a value of 64-127 tells it to start, provided it's not in Toggle mode. What commands are you sending and from which DAW?

Any risk operating AxeFx-II on its side?

Haha thanks guys for these incredibly helpful replies. So far the oil dribbling up and out of the compressor hasn't prohibited cooling nor impacted power consumption! NMG, thanks man, would've not even considered stuff like that. Piing, waaaay into that book binder MIDI controller!

Any risk operating AxeFx-II on its side?

Title says it all but for context I’ve moved into a small space and am trying to set up the most practical and open workflow I can. I’d like to have the AxeFx-II standing vertically as opposed to usual horizontal placement so it can best fit. Any risk to the AxeFx operating it this way...
