Why does the Overdrive control default to noon and not 8.00 when you reset the amp block?
Because that's the way I did it.

It's indeed spot on, as you say, though it begs the question of whether 8.00 might be a more natural default point.that's the most spot on answer ever. people, because that's the way he did it.

Why not 7.30?? or 6.25?
Setting Overdrive to 8.00 will give the identical response to pre-10.10 for all models with the Overdrive control.
Who says that 8.00 is "correct"? It may be the same as 10.09, but why have that additional control if you just put it back to where it used to be?

I changed one to 7.75 today.
I'm with you yek. Awesome to see the guy from the hangover movies endorsing the ii. Lol
New feature for Axe III:
Graphic interface of the actual amp being modelled with accompanying knob names.
That would stop the confusion about what's what
Set Input Drive to 5.51, Overdrive to 8.00.
How can I detect 8.00 ?? is max=10 or max=12 ?
Y'know, I've thought since the original AxeFx Std that the display was quite a throwback. Looks like something from the 80s. When you see what they put on phones, of all things, you'd think the most advanced piece of musical gear extant would have something a little more up-to-date. You'd be able to display so much more information so much more clearly.
