Ample opportunity to get an Ultra from Ebay....fighting the temptation. TELL ME THAT THIS IS WORTH THE WAIT!!! Help!

Where did Cliff say the manual was going on line today ???? This is all I could find ....

Matt is writing the manual this time and doing an incredible job. The final draft is done. Just awaiting the input from the proof-readers and it will be available online very shortly.

Seems to me that since they are not yet in that sexy black box that its going to be at least a couple more weeks before we're in the drivers seat enjoying that new Axe II smell.

Not necessarily.. who knows? (not me )
The first units may already have been assembled and packed and waiting for the manual.
They are already dispatched at strategic points all over the world (next to a printer)! who knows??

I may be wrong(hope so) but when I see that in the last days the USB send/return has changed from 3/2 to 4/2 I think we are a bit more far away as there is still work on the firmware:and different to others Cliff never launched anything half ready(apart the axe-edit maybe)

So I use my Ultra and wait

mmmm, Cliff did state that he placed a large order (not several small ones?) and depending on sales he was going to place a second very large order... but yes you are right, who but Fractal knows... they could be getting some of the complete units ready for release at anytime, but if they have to wait for the order to be complete before receiving???

Nothing wrong with the Ultra, I've been using it from day one and loving it, but if you can afford the Axe Fx II I'd suggest you buy it instead of a used Ultra, from what i've read about it, it will be worth the extra $$ in my opinion, I'm getting one as soon as they'r available.
