RANF.The first preset is 000.
I checked it again today: Preset 035 is Tucana, preset 036 is FAS Modern. However, in the FM3 Edit list, preset 035 is Tucana and preset 036 is Tucana too. Only when you select 036 it shows correctly that the preset is in fact FAS Modern.
In FM3 Edit, under the Settings tab, execute the "Refresh After New Firmware". That's what Rex is referring to above. Didn't see a response from you so wasn't sure you understood. The first preset is 000.

This is the reason why I'll never buy a fractal product again after purchasing an AXE-FX II an AX8 and an FM3.IMPORTANT: This update adds new Dyna-Cab™ models to the FM3, bringing it in sync with the Axe-Fx III and FM9. To make room for these, the number of User Cab slots has been reduced from 1024 to 512. If you have any User Cabs stored in slots 513–1024, please back them up using FM3-Edit. Those slots will be removed, and any cabs in them will be permanently lost after the update.

Surely a Fourth fractal product wouldn't hurtThis is the reason why I'll never buy a fractal product again after purchasing an AXE-FX II an AX8 and an FM3.
As a FM3 owner you lose half the storage capacity of your unit in order to update firmware. At the very least, the user should have had the choice as of which bank they would sacrifice to accommodate the required space. I personally don't care about 95% of the 2048 factory IRs stored. But I do need and spent years building my user library.
You didn't lose half the storage capacity of the unit. You lost half the storage capacity for IRs. Granted, it's a hassle to migrate them. I get it. Let's remember that instead of assigning a name or a specific ID to each imported IR. They are IDed by slot number. Which was already in itself a massive shortcoming. But now anyone who took advantage of the product they bought in a professional capacity by creating presets for setlists and assigned custom IR to scenes end up having countless hours of tedious work ahead of them.
That's the reward we get for purchasing "professional" products.

You can store all your IRs on your computer and swap them at will.As a FM3 owner you lose half the storage capacity of your unit in order to update firmware. No doubt. For consistency it's always better to stick to one IR for a certain performance/show or different EQ's hitting the FOH would be hard to mix.You can store all your IRs on your computer and swap them at will.
If you’re playing live and not connected, I can’t imagine any situation where someone needs more than 512 IRs at any one time. Must be a sound guy’s biggest nightmare.
I guess you missed a crucial point, even a few:As a FM3 owner you lose half the storage capacity of your unit in order to update firmware
