FM3 Firmware Version 12.0

While I was editing, the editor lost connection and the unit froze. It didn’t change patches or scenes. This has happened twice in the last few days, and it had never happened with any previous firmware version. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, when I turned on the unit, some patches appeared with their old names, but when I opened them, everything was fine.

If the unit freezes then the editor will disconnect.

Preset names are read from the unit by the editor when it starts (and I believe are stored after that on the computer on shutdown). If the editor didn't close normally, and preset names had changed, that seems normal.

Post the preset and describe the steps you had taken before the crash/hang.
 
Last freeze: This was the preset I was using. I was adjusting the amp’s bass when the unit froze (the preset’s down below).

Previous freeze: I was using another preset, which I don’t remember, editing parameters like gapless or spillover.

The Gapless settings can increase CPU use... Maybe you exceeded CPU limits?
