What guitar are you playing today?

How do you find the pickups in the 513? I bought one aeons ago, played it a lot but never really clicked with the tone of the pickups - still got it, been sitting at a friends place for about twelve years now! Lovely guitar and REALLY like the longer scale length!
I like them a lot. You should revisit the 513.

Been playing nothing but my Floyd/trem equipped guitars for a while. Maybe it's time to strap this on again. My one of a kind custom built guitar based on a Gibson L5-S. They were all maple. this one is mahogany body/neck with maple cap. It's 1" thick at the edge and 1 5/8" at the center.

Nice build! I like that the figuring on the top is a bit understated.

My Suhr Standard Legacy. I need to take it to my tech for a tune up since there are a few kinks in the setup I want him to iron out. Such a great guitar, though. The only thing is, I prefer bigger frets and it has this weird black cloth thing in the Floyd Rose cavity and I have no idea why they put it in there.

Mahogany neck, how is that (btw spell checker on here is better "zay" do, or I would misspell real words) ; but seriously compare to maple? Maple top looks great, beautiful finish, buy like that or you did it? Awesome guitar from here.

Any difference between this the the old Mark Knopfler Pensa -Suhr that I used to gas for?

Custom build for me over 10 years ago by a retired lutheir who has sinced past. I wanted it to look like an L5-S without all the extra bling which would have really increased the price, but sound like a Les Paul, hence my wood choice. The pickups are SD Seth Lovers. Also it's a set neck.

Mark's Pensa-Suhr guitars were archtops and I don't actually know what kind of fingerboard radius they had without googling it. Other than that, it's very close and the Suhr Standard Legacy guitars also have the 'Knopfler mod, so the EMG's are soldered in instead of quick-connected.

playing these a lot lately. have some easy going fractal patches that I feel are almost worthy of others :).

the J-40 if I had bought 1st I wouldn't have the D 35. The 35 is more of a defined very flat sound.
Where the J 40 is a big jangly beast of an acoustic @!!@. Needs tamed!!!
