I am currently doing the FM9 course and it’s well worth the money to get you up and going quickly.
Couldn't agree more. His course took the mystery out of the way the logic is set up in the unit, for new Fractal users (2019 for me) who are used to Apple/Samsung/Windows style UI's and architecture. Jumping into pro-audio, from consumer audio can be overwhelming.Cooper,
Thank you for the abundant knowledge you've provided regards getting to know one's FM9 and associated peripherals. TBH, it took me quite a while to apply and absorb as much of the material as possible, but the focus of this course is that it is available at any time for review in case some significant point were missed, or just being able to review the course as a reference in the future.
Your course was entirely engaging and encouraged the viewer to stick with the course through to completion. The value of this course is equally matched by the amount of material covered, and for the time and effort it took for you to put together this masterclass, we're thankful.
Personally, i think the course is great, a super excellent overview of the concepts and capabilities of Fractal devices, but i wouldn't get it for the presets. There's similar stuff in the factory presets, more up to date too. But the ideas, the tools, the ways of thinking about creating your own presets, that stuff is invaluable. If I understood correctly there are presets built buy him in the axe 3 course which you can then download. Is that so and what kinds of sounds are that?
Really considering buying the course and would like to know.
Well, it’s not really for the presets only, although it is a nice bonus. If for example he builds a country preset, that is something I’d like to learn. So it is also a question like: what do you learn to programme specifically and purposely for a specific sound.Personally, i think the course is great, a super excellent overview of the concepts and capabilities of Fractal devices, but i wouldn't get it for the presets. It’ll teach you enough to build a good preset by yourself, if your ears know what you want to hear.I'm terrible for ending up buying presents etc. stupid question but going through the masterclass, would it essentially teach me enough to not have to bother with others presents? Except irs of course.
