Those are great-sounding pickups. I'm thinking of trying the Thornbucker II.I put a thornbucker in my K Line Springfield and the tone through the HBE V1 is incredibly heavenly. View attachment 160410

Yeah I’d be curious to try that as well. To be honest I didn’t know the difference between this one, the plus or the II so I just bought this. Those are great-sounding pickups. I'm thinking of trying the Thornbucker II.
I'd be happy with the TB also. Tone seeking can become a rabbit hole.Yeah I’d be curious to try that as well. To be honest I didn’t know the difference between this one, the plus or the II so I just bought this.

I took a spring out and tuned it down a half step. Now I find it hard to stop playing.
The decked tremolo felt like it was handicapped but now I’m loving all the different tunings I can do with this guitar.
It’s a a 2008 ‘59 Country Gentleman reissue. It is supposed to be a reissue of a guitar that Chet Atkins personalized for himself back in the day.Was trying to figure out what model that was; looks wonderful. And I'm guessing it's wonderful to play as well.
Nice flame and just enough bling!
I like the look of that finish - one of a kind. What are we looking at? If I guess, I'm sure I'd be wrong!
Its a Tyler Studio HD Elite in Blue Schmear, sounds and feels awesome, traded my Two Rock for itI like the look of that finish - one of a kind. What are we looking at? If I guess, I'm sure I'd be wrong!
Sounds like a good trade - if you don't miss the Two Rock too much. Its a Tyler Studio HD Elite in Blue Schmear, sounds and feels awesome, traded my Two Rock for it
Wish I could afford the full USA, but loving my Chinese built one. That's gorgeous!
I sat and realised that I’d switched on the Two Rock a handful of times over the year as I just used the Fx3 when I played, seemed a sensible option as I loved the Tyler’s that I’ve played but at £6500 new, buying one was out of the questionSounds like a good trade - if you don't miss the Two Rock too much.
