I put a thornbucker in my K Line Springfield and the tone through the HBE V1 is incredibly heavenly. View attachment 160410

Yeah I’d be curious to try that as well. To be honest I didn’t know the difference between this one, the plus or the II so I just bought this.

I'd be happy with the TB also. Tone seeking can become a rabbit hole.

and small filing of the upper saddle string gaps

After those two, there are no more problems with keeping in tune, even when playing with a harder grip.

At the same time, new strings Elixir Optiweb 10-46 set.

Works and sounds great.
Overall, the guitar is now excellent to play and has not been ruined by the price.

Fits well even in a child's hand and is very comfortable and light to play.
The sound of the guitar is surprisingly good and can be used in many ways, of course, it is good to adjust the amplifier to this individual's own sounds for various uses.

I've liked the Fralin split-rails alot, when I had guitars with them before. Enjoy!

I took a spring out and tuned it down a half step. Now I find it hard to stop playing.

The decked tremolo felt like it was handicapped but now I’m loving all the different tunings I can do with this guitar.

It’s a a 2008 ‘59 Country Gentleman reissue. It is supposed to be a reissue of a guitar that Chet Atkins personalized for himself back in the day.

I sat and realised that I’d switched on the Two Rock a handful of times over the year as I just used the Fx3 when I played, seemed a sensible option as I loved the Tyler’s that I’ve played but at £6500 new, buying one was out of the question
