It was a joke. Sorry it was at your expense, but Fractalbot shows the version of firmware on the screen when you load it. Most users don’t seem to have an issue with determining what firmware they are on. I didn’t intend malice, just a dumb joke.

For the record i agree that it IS confusing that you're offered the software you just installed. Makes you doubt whether it actually did get installed.

I’ve actually never noticed that. I think tend to close down Fractalbot after it finishes and before I go over to my rack and reboot the Axe-FX. Been awhile since I updated.

True, but ideally it would then offer to REinstall.

Or maybe just show the currently installed firmware and dynacab versions in the installer.
