Lmao!!! Yup…..
If you’re 40 meters away from the mains, sound takes over 100 ms to reach you. That’s 100 ms of latency that you can’t dial out with any gear on earth. Going back to a wired connection won’t fix it, either.
Well that explains that one thenIf you’re 40 meters away from the mains, sound takes over 100 ms to reach you. That’s 100 ms of latency that you can’t dial out with any gear on earth. Going back to a wired connection won’t fix it, either.

Actually, that’s 1994 days later, give or take. From Feb 23, 2020 to today, 903 days later...

I get it. I’ve tossed around the idea of a pedalboard for years, agonizing over whether I could even commit to a configuration. Maybe it’s time to just do it. I’d really rather not create and tear down connections at every show....I think I'm finally ready to commit to a board? Maybe. I'm overcomplicating this "simple" rig even now.
How'd I screw the math up THAT bad?Actually, that’s 1994 days later, give or take.

Calculus messes up your brain for regular math. How'd I screw the math up THAT bad?![]()

Ah. No! I did the math correctly! I just used the wrong year when I did it! I was using 2023, not 2020! Phew.Calculus messes up your brain for regular math.![]()
I think it'd get lost in all the footswitches! Are you running them all as mid?
What size screws did you use for the Fm3? I have a temple board on the way and plan to do the same thingSimple and happy
FM3 screwed unto a Temple Audio Duo 17 with my wireless powered by a Fender Engine Room LV5. Picked up the Duo, Engine Room and IEC mod all for £120! IEC splitter under the board means one power cable into the side and everything good to go.
Room for an MXR Bass Synth pedal should I ever need that Synthy goodness...

You’re not one of those Octopus Man types, are you.I think it'd get lost in all the footswitches! Are you running them all as mid?

You can use just the original 3 if that's all you need.I think it'd get lost in all the footswitches! Are you running them all as mid?
It's the opposite for me...I'm recreating a pedal board on a smaller footprint but without the cabling, power supply, etc...i.e. things that can cause a failure on a gig. You’re not one of those Octopus Man types, are you.
It kind of puzzles me how people move from pedals to devices like FM3 and then use footswitches to recreate pedalboard experience, with a switch per individual effect and such. I’m like, guys, isn’t the whole point of going digital in getting rid of all this foot juggling?
Apparently not, what do I know.![]()
Yeah, but not individually, I use scenes that turn those things on and off in bulk. You still have to press on footswitches to turn on FX...how else would you?
You'd need more scenes than I have switches but whatever works for you is the way to do it.Yeah, but not individually, I use scenes that turn those things on and off in bulk.
