What aftermarket MIDI controller are you using?

The LG2 was king (perhaps still is). I have three with a drawer full of new replacement screens. Still, I'm migrating to the Tiny Box. The Mastermind also looks good. Not nearly as powerful as the LG2, but current availability and scribble strips are more than major pluses.
There's a pretty clean LG2 with new screen for $250 on the local Facebook Marketplace. Tempted but I really don't need it.

That's a really low price. But if I weren't already invested in it, or I didn't need the esoteric sophistication, I probably wouldn't go for it. You could definitely resell it on reverb for more than that.

I'm really digging the tiny box. It's not as powerful as the LG2, but it does pretty much everything I need. It has a few functions that the LG doesn't have as well. I'm using it with switches connected to a Raspberry Pi Pico instead of the Behringer controller.
Oh man, I don't know how I've missed that... just checked that out because of this post... cool little device! The 1010 has so much promise, but it's hindered by the WORST programmability I've ever used. I have one collecting dust, and I'm going to have to give it another try with a tiny box! Thanks!

The fcb is the greatest low budget controller I ever had. I left it as I didn't like the optical expression pedals one needs to clean once a year as preventive maintenance, the form factor, a bit too large. But it never ever let me down. Programming was really easy imho. If I'd kept it I'd surely go for the Tiny Box.

:o

I've never heard anyone make a similar statement.

Using the stock PROM?
No, effectively, very easy using a software on PC ! Don't remember the name of the soft, it ran under XP and W7 32bits (and then I moved to the Gordius).

Manual programming this controller is an insupportable PITA. I actually never tried that, just reading the manual was dissuasive enough 😂
