I'm not seeing it either. I don't see a "soft reset" in the amp block's channel context menu.

Edit: "channel" context menu is the key word. I was right-clicking the amp block, where I would intuitively assume it would go. Even after rereading the release notes my brain ignored "channel".
Thats it thanks for screenshot so much easier

There may be a potential terminology issue.
We now have the dedicated "Soft Reset" for the Amp block (a very welcome addition!).
But re-selecting an effect type, including amp types, is also often referred to as "soft reset".
Should we stop using that term in the latter case?
I think so. Soft Reset is a term in the UI. It now refers to that thing.

This is excellent.
The two option I would also like to keep its setting after a soft reset is the Saturation Switch and Master Vol Location, as they are technically modifications (Jose Mod) and will change the volume of the preset drastically.
edit: maybe Tonestack Location too.

NEW “SOFT RESET” UTILITY
The new Soft Reset utility in the Amp block can be used to reset an amp model while preserving basic controls. It is found in the Amp’s Edit menu, on the Type page (the left-most page), on Push-knob E. This utility resets the current channel, updating deep parameters while preserving your settings for basic controls such as Gain, Tone, GEQ, and more. This ensures accurate sound when amp modeling is updated or when models are remastered after changes.

In the editor, this option can be executed in the Amp Block's Channel context menu, or you can use Manage Presets to soft reset all channels in a number of selected presets at once.

That would not be good for troubleshooting, which is one of the main reasons to reset. We think the new Soft Reset is perfect as it is now.
For troubleshoot the old "reset current channel" or re-selecting the amp are the first thing I would suggest, but a sudden volume change is never good.
Otherwise, I agree, the (edit: choice of parameters for the) new soft reset is excellent.

Is it possible that the update reset the Low Cut and High Cut parameters in the Dyna-Cabs? That's what happened to me after Axe-Edit and Firmware update, from 28.05.
