I am going to quote @iaresee from about 3 years ago (i searched for this too)

"Yes, it means "Global". If you enable global for that parameter than the value used comes from the Setup > Global Settings > Config page under the EFFECT MIXING section. There are two parameters there, Reverb Mix and Effects Mix, that let you change the value for any block using the global section, globally, from that one place.

It's a nice way to say, dial back all your reverbs in your presets if you're in a room that's really boomy, without having to visit every REV block in every preset you're going to use and do it there.

I think he knows what it is - he's asking if it's new on the FM3...

Great update!

I hope you fix this too, but the resonance frequency of the speaker impedance curve "2x12 Bassbuster" is a strange value.
It hasn't been fixed for years.
DLC86, who provided this data, pointed out that the resonance frequencies of the speaker and port may have been swapped, and that the bass resonance peak should be around 100Hz.

Just to report that fw update went smooth. My main presets were around 70ish% before (9.02) and are running equal on 10.

Can’t comment on sound quality as I’m waiting for the factory presets to load… but it was exceptional on 9.02 so I’m not worried about that.

Thanks FAS! I’ve had this “no headphone out” fm3 since the first days (when we had to wait a lot!) and can’t believe how much this device has developed. Best piece of equipment I’ve had. Not just guitar related.

That would also mean that new customers get reduced quality for all their presets. Not a smart move. Also, new presets would suffer from lower quality.
Keeping 100% as a default value is the only logical solution as fixing the old presets is quick and easy.
I use London plate. Someone said early that reselecting it dropped cpu. I confirm this to be true. The default value of dispersión is not 100

Woah! I just started using the new "Tube Spring" algorithm and it's fantastic! 90% drip and 75% scattering with the tone backed down to 4.17 and it's like another instrument that I can play now! It's got that drip when you mute the strings and that high frequency visceral glaze too just like a real tank. Barely more CPU than my old "Rich Hall" reverb too. Great job on that one, Fractal!

Now on almost all the presets the “in1 clip” warning is showing on the unit.

Never happened ok previous fw and my pickups are not hot ones.

Normal?

Ps: my audio set up wasn’t modified on update as others reported. Input pad at 0db before and 0db now.

What an amazing update guys, it's incredible how much you can still squeeze out of the FM3 Cpu. Mad coding skills for sure!

Is there a way to batch save the presets?
The Preset Manager can export presets, which would be the closest it can do to "batch save". Select a preset, or presets, then right-click and select "Export…". They'll be saved as individual preset files.

Fractal-Bot, which is our normal tool for creating or restoring backups, only works on an individual preset, or on banks of presets. Because you wanted to offset your factory presets by 100 that shifted them from the bank boundary. Bank A will contain slots from 0-127.

In either case I'd select them all, or their containing folder, or the bank backup file, and archive it. I use .zip archives and it'll reduce an entire bank to a smaller file than a single preset .syx file.

Thank you

Just can't get enough of the gold plate reverb. It sounds SO SO SO good with my beyerdynamic headphones. I can just get lost in playing open chords and have the sound wash over me. Thank you so much FAS. Can't believe how much the FM3 (non-turbo) has improved in the last 2 years that I've owned it. Thank you!
