FM9 Case?

Been using the D'Addario Backline Pedalboard Transporter - Large case. Got it along with the D'Addario XPND board. However, decided not to use the pedalboard. Mounted the FM9 and ME pedal on a piece of sturdy wood. Lots of space in front pouch and inside case for cables, ISP Ultra-Lite amp, and more.

I have a Pedaltrain Novo 24 soft case. I may try to use this. Will get some some to line it as it's a little larger than the FM9 unit.

My local friend has the same case in gray. He used to carry a Kemper Stage in it and the FM9 is smaller overall (but the same width).

He also has an expression and cables underneath.

Finished version of my Evergreen Seahorse 920 case. I added the lid organizer, because why not. Room for everything in a rock solid case that rolls. Win! I’m really loving this setup, and being free of an old school ‘board’ setup. And that’s coming from a guy that loves to wire up/make pedalboards.

Screen guards by CEBA, button toppers by Barefoot Buttons (v1 minis).
useing this dip spray how many cans does it take?

I was going to mount the FM9 to a board, mainly because I like making boards, but I think I’ll just use it as is because it’s so beefy, it kind of IS the pedalboard lol. I have this Gator rolling helix case. There’s room for 2 EV-1s plus a good long IEC cable.

FWIW, I took my FM9 in this case (as a carry on) with two different airlines across he US with zero issues. The fact that it rolls is really nice too. It fit in the overhead bin of a smaller regional jet with no problems.

I just purchased the Gator Helix roll case based on the recommendations here. As you can see, it is nearly a perfect fit for the FM9 and an EV-1. I highly recommend this case.

This package is 26.8 pounds in total. That is about half the weight of my Axe-FX III / power conditioner / rack case and that doesn’t even take into account the weight of my floor board with the FC-6 and expression pedals. This is going to make load in /out super easy.

Im for it! Group pic?

Anyone ever look at the Gator Helix Floor Case? https://www.gatorcases.com/products...floor-processor-case-with-wheels-ghelixfloor/

Could be good for FM9 - no room for expression pedals though I don't think?

@sick pickle see the quoted posts.

After following this thread since its inception, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Seahorse 920 as well.
Was leaning towards a backpack or one of the soft cases, but as the bands calendar started filling out I decided to go hardshell for the extra protection.

First impressions, I have to say this thing seems pretty sturdy and has a lot of room for expression pedals, cables, wireless. If I had to pick a negative the pop out handle for when you use it with the rollers seems a tad on the flimsy side compared to the rest of it, but I think as long as you are careful and not constantly picking it up by that handle it should be fine. The rest of it appears solid. And the pop out foam makes it real easy to shape.

Pardon my ignorance. How do you customize the foam size/cut inside the case?

The foam is made of "semi" pre-cut cubes that are very easy to pluck out.

Love this case. I have taken this through heavy rain, packed it with a bunch of other gear, no worries about it ever getting damaged. And the rollers with extendable handle are awesome!
