I don't believe it means anything. The further we are in the list past the announcement, the quicker it gets and will get. Then again, they could face major supplier problems and run out of stock. So number of days from the date of request is just for just the fun of it really
 
For what it’s worth, I’ve been keeping track of invites and the waitlist. These are just numbers, and not intended to give anybody false hope or expectations. If anything, I just have found this helpful to temper my expectations. Dates may not be 100% accurate, but they are very close.
FM3 announced on 4/23/19
FM3 (no HP) starts shipping on 2/12/20
AX8 portion of list complete on 3/20/20
4/23/19 waitlisted complete on 4/6/20
4/24/19 waitlisted complete on 4/16/20
At that point things picked up and by 5/8/20 they were serving 6/10/19.
FM3 with HP starts shipping on 5/11/20
AX8 portion of list complete on 5/14/20
4/23/19 waitlisted complete on 5/28/20
4/24/19 waitlisted complete on 6/23/20
Clearly there was a hang up getting thru 4/24/19, but I’m hopeful things are getting back on track with invites going out.
Yes I have a lot of time on my hands, I am out of work Musician with no gigs on the horizon.

That's what I figured he did. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed an official update or something. Like many on here, I expect to see that time shrink significantly as they progress through the wait list.

That's crazy! It seems as though it's taking about half the time for the headphones invites to get through the same amount of days as the NON-headphones (with the exception of the "Bermuda Triangle Information Blackout" as I call it) :p
 
I got mine in today. I got the HP invite on the 6th but they were out of stock until last week.

I actually ended up ordering the non-HP version after thinking about it for a week while waiting for restock.

Somehow, they still sent me one with a headphone jack. I haven't tried it, but the the physical jack is there above the instrument input. I wonder if it was a mistake, I don't even own 1/4 headphones to check it.

Totally popped my fractal cherry today. Love it. I feel like one of the cool kids now even though I'm still solidly avarage on the guitar.

Mine comes Monday, I was hoping they might stick an HP version in the box either by mistake or they didn't have a non version. I can hope right?

I think you should be honest, report it to their sales and offer to pay the $50. ;)
 
For anyone who is curious, I clicked on my invitation for the non-headphone unit again today and the add to cart option is now gone. I believe that might mean all the extra non-headphone stock is finally sold out. I was hoping to get a headphone unit anyway so it will definitely be worth the wait :)
