Been mono for as long as I recall.
Yeah but the non-spring types create stereo. All of the reverb types are processed in mono. The dry stereo signal is preserved, but it is summed and fed to the reverb engine.

Resurrecting this from the dead to see if there is any reason why the spring reverb cannot be a stereo plugin. I’d love to dump my Source Audio True Spring but spring reverb is all I use outside of a little room for headphone use, and like so many of us, I am running a stereo setup. I’m on an FM3 btw but didn’t want to start a new thread
Are you unable to reproduce the effect with two spring reverb blocks in parallel ? A quick google reveals that the BX20 was two large spring reverb tanks in a fancy housing to minimize sproingingreverbs such as the AKG BX20
I prematurely sold my true spring, in the expectation that the AxeFX 3 would deliver an equal quality spring verb. I miss that pedal, as annoying as it is to configure / use the tremolo, the spring algorithms in that thing are gorgeous!Resurrecting this from the dead to see if there is any reason why the spring reverb cannot be a stereo plugin.
