    Very very simple song that I learn in 1967...I would actually have to spend thousands of dollars to get this tone with a real amp.     Had a gig in Cleveland this past Saturday and gave the back-line people a list of power monitors starting from qse k12 and ending in Eon's.Got for back-line a JBL eon power 15 and got to tell you...IT WAS FREAKING TERRIBLE!!!!Missed my XiTone...Man what a huge difference.

    Matrix GT1000FX compared to: using my old ears.

    I spent about 1 1/2 hours yesterday comparing power amps against the GT1000FX. I compared the ART/Sla 2, BGW 150, Crown XLS 1500 and a QSC 850 one channel only. Because the power amps ratings are not the same, what I did was ad a 1000k tone to all the amps dialing the amps up to a 95 db output...

    I just did a test in the studio and was blown away. Axe-Fx + QSC K10 Axe-Fx + SLA-2 + JBL JRX112M with a Selenium D220Ti high freaquency mod...only one channel and 1 speaker. The QSC sounded nice and very smooth at regular volume / JBL sounded as loud/smooth and more detailed on the high...

    Finally I got the sound that I need out of the axe-ef. This is the perfect back up for me...The patch has only just a little of spring reverb. I also added a touch of 5k and reverb on the daw to make it fit in the track better. Man this thing is really organic...let me know what you think...
