Your top 5 brutal metal amp models

You know you can turn the treble and presence knobs up, right?

I mean I’m not going to get into it from a recording point of view , which is where I’m coming from, but, it’s not that simple always. Everyone loves say you can just “eq everything”, and that’s just simply not the case. If it was that easy, we would only need one amp, one cabinet, one hardware eq etc. sure you can brighten them up, but that’s only part of the picture.

Some amps just don't match some players/engineers/producers. Nothing wrong with it. Thats why we got so many options. 🤘

A buddy of mine sold a ton of records with his Uberschall. I can't stand that amp and it sounds like butt every time I try it. Different strokes and all that.

Since when is a Friedman BE a brutal metal amp to people?? Weird.
BE is close to an Atomica ("... as the BE is very similar to the Atomica." Cliff in the Wiki).
The Atomica is basically the basis for the Fortin Meshuggah.
For many, Meshuggah is probably the definition of "brutal", but as always in the arts, it's a matter of taste and ymmv.
Hence, I can see the connection between "Friedman" and "brutal" even though "Friedman" could be translated as "Man of peace" in germanic languages.
Anyway, happy brutalizing, no matter which weapon you choose!
