You know your amp is too big when...

F
Every time you switch on your amp, light is going down
Your amp's potentiometers are at eye level when you're standing up
Your volume pot goes up to 12
Please complete....

My Marshall 200 dims the lights when I turn it on.
My Marshall 200 head on top of the two 4x15 Marshall cabs is higher than eye level.
My 59 Bassman goes to 12. I use two of them.

Guilty as charged.

You can't do a solo gig because you need help moving the gear.

You're 20 and already showing signs of back and knee problems.

You quit working out because your amp more than compensates.

A truck and trailer are now an integral part of your rig.

You find yourself saying "what?" a lot.

Your idea of tone is how hard it hits you in the chest.

You enjoy feedback. Harmonic, or no.

I saw a show on the tour of the first Richie Blackmore's Rainbow record... The music and Ronnie were so epic, no one, me included, ever even commented on how short Ronnie was.

Ronnie looked ten feet tall when the music started. Epic.

You know your amp is too loud when...
buildings within a mile are reduced to rubble.
the rocket launch site in the next state calls you to turn it down.
Greenpeace protests your band at every beachfront gig because of the danger you pose to whales offshore, and you get complaints from IUSS operators in....Iceland.
