wrap around your nuts!

For fixed bridges, I Velcro behind the nut and between the bridge and tailpiece (Guitar Tant haha) to stop the high pitched ringing. For Trem springs, I either use Velcro lightly wrapped around the springs, stretched out cotton balls or gauze stuffed into the springs or a fluffy piece of fabric either wrapped around the springs or glued to the bottom of the cavity under the springs and glued to the plastic cover over the springs. I've also seen coated Trem springs that are supposed to silence them but I've never tried them.
