@FractalAudio Now that we have FullRes coming, it would be great to finally support Stereo mixing in Cab Lab with a Stereo Mode with the following features:
These features would really make it a next level tool for doing this work.
- Send Mix to Scratch Pad lets you designate two scratchpad slots to send the left and right files of the mix in order to audition it.
- Send Mix to user Cab button lets you designate two slots to send the IR files to save them.
- Each channel in the "wrench" mode reveals a pan pot in order to pan each IR in the stereo field.
- Saving the file automatically appends "left" and "right" to the cab mix .syx and .ir file names in order to save them to your computer.
- Frequency graph display and Time graph displays are switchable between summed stereo, left side or right side so that you can see what is going on either in aggregate or on each side of the image.
- Floating your cursor on the Frequency graph reveals pop up text if it stays in the same position more than 5 seconds with the frequency and dBFS measure of that position of the IR file.
- Floating your cursor on the Time graph reveals pop up text if it stays in the same position more than 5 seconds with the time measure of that position of the IR file.
- Time scale display is switchable for the Standard file format, UltraRes format, and FullRes format so that you can see if a particular format is truncating info from your mix.
- Increase the delay values of each track that can be dialed in.
- Allow drag and drop to reorder the channels in Series mixing mode.
- Allow export of mixes to WAV files.
These features would really make it a next level tool for doing this work.
