WISH: Alternative to global blocks

I came here because I received FM9 few weeks ago, coming from Axe-Fx II and just learned that there are no global blocks feature. Is there a proper reason for this crucial omission, or is it just because the product is new and the firmware is still under development?

I don't think there's been an official answer on why...

The result would be similar to Global Blocks, but easier to implement. Speaking for myself, it would replace the need to use Global Blocks on the III.

Another possible approach even easier to implement, only for the editor though:
