The fact is, for some amps, it is easy to recovr he original, for other, sorry but no :)
Is there an legal thing that make you change the amps names?
And is there somewhere a list with the real names equivalences?

this would be helpful.

(and sorry if I have skipped a thread already mentioning it, I'm a dorf at seeking info...)
 
How did Line 6 handle it? They don't seem to have a problem using the real names at least in the instruction manuals and on-line.

L6 uses similarly-obscured names in their devices and software.
I don't think there's been an actual legal precedent set, but it's wise not to tempt fate.

But they don't hide it in the documentation and advertising. They "simply" state the names are owned by the respective manufacturers.

Good point as I'm sure Line 6 could handle it but Fractal doesn't have such deep pockets.
