Who Is On Your Mt. Rushmore Of Guitar Players?

Man, forgot about Michael. He changed my life. Saw him in a teeny-tiny club in 1990. Sat
front row with my buddy and he blew both of our minds. So good. Every two handed
tapping, body-thumping acoustic player on Youtube owes him a lifeline.

Bonus points for you!! :)
I saw the Steve Morse band in a teeny club in Charlotte about that same time. Wrecked me.

And Yep! Hedges is The Godfather of modern fingerstyle.

Yeah, I was a big Michael fan from fairly early on. I was lucky enough to see him twice on the "Watching My Life Go By" tour in '85. Both times were relatively small theaters, and he was bigger than the room. I hadn't seen his technique before, so I only had a rough idea of how he played and suffice to say, I was blown away seeing him in person. He came out and launched right into "All Along the Watchtower" and proceeded to dismantle all assumptions I had about the guitar.
