What is possible with 2 AXE IIs?

I would use one for my regular stage rig w real power amp, cab & lots of gain and the 2nd for ir cabs & going direct w about 5/8th of gain.

So to do one better, we need the ability for 11 amps

It's certainly not a common scenario, but if you have an instrument hexaphonic or multi-channel outputs you can route strings separately into each Axe FX.

Could you have 2 strings going into one axe fx and have the same result as 2 strings into 2 axe fx'?

The dream: A hexaphonic guitar with SIX Axe-Fx IIs; one to process each string individually.

My first thought was this:

One rig into a tube power amp and cab on stage with cab and power amp sims off
One rig mirroring this but with cab and power amp sims on straight to FOH

Second thought, complete redundancy (as in a backup unit)
