I agree. I'm trying to remove the hassle of tubes (replacements, biasing, heavy amps) from the equation.

The Atomic FR sounded way better to me than the QSC 122i in AB comparisons.

I hear the K series are better but haven't tried them yet.

I just got k12's and k10's recently and they work really well with the Axe II. mainly had to tweek around with the low end so they didn't sound boomy.
