What does the 'dynamic speaker modeling in the amp block' do

Sorry if this has been asked but what does the 'dynamic speaker modeling in the amp block' do and practical uses for it?
 
Practical uses for it? I would guess its active all the time you use the amp block. Don't know what you mean.

I would believe it's dynamic because IRs are static? this is just me guessing.. I have no idea.
 
Well i guess the question should be what is it and why do we need it and why is it an improved feature of axe2
 
It models the speaker nonlinear behavior. You can adjust the amount of Speaker Drive.
 
Is it possibe for a cab sim, or IR to replicate the breakup of an actual guitar speaker. I'm guessing no, but had to ask.
