Any good solution on how to train that *effectively*? I always thought this comes automaticly with time... but turnsed out it doesn't. At least I didn't notice any improvement.I relate to both of the above. Also right now I have been trying to improve synch between my right and left hands. I thought it was fine... until I started to analyse my own technique a bit more closely.
The same way you train anything—slow it down, and keep slowing it down until you can't get it wrong. I am using the home study for guitar. Every month they mail me some notes and I have to struggle to do something with them. The suckometer says I still have to trek to the mailbox.
Trying to learn at least one solo note for note in my lifetime. Each time I try I end up going off into some ad-hoc improvisation after the first few bars. I don't think that part of my brain works properly.
