Welcome to the ICONS sub-forum

I didn't see any way to control block switches (except bypass) with MIDI. Did I miss something? I want to MIDI control e.g., the Boost in the amp block.

Boost switch or any switches / toggles can't be midi'd but 90% of the stuff can be by right clicking a parameter and clicking "Enable midi control" etc. Also there's a MIDI tab at the top of the plugin.

OK what I want to know....is... are some of the sounds from the Axe Fx 3 in this particular plugin?

Also, did Fractal, change their mind about plugins? I thought they would never make any.....

Cliff mentioned on other forum "The modeling is a direct port from the hardware code-base."

Also people and companies can change their minds, not a big deal :D

Man that is great news! I know a LOT of studios will jump on this in a heartbeat.

Also This is just the first of more packs to come apparently....

Oh and I am a proud Axe Fx III Mark II Turbo owner....I thought I recognised those amp sounds in the you tube video from my axe fx III!

  • ability to change preamp and amplifier tubes.
  • change Tonstack within the same family.
  • impedance curve and cab resonance
  • Speaker Thump
  • Output Compressor

  • add parameters Proximity Freqiency - Proximity, Smoothing for volume.

I'm considering upgrading from FM3 to FX3, but I'd like to ask...Will it include all current Amp models in future plugins?
Because FM3+Plugin is also a good option.

Not sure where to put wish list items, but there are a couple things that would significantly improve the MIDI interface:
  1. Support MIDI control of switch parameters (Bright, Boost, etc.). For example MIDI control of the Boost is effectively another drive
  2. Allow editing in the MIDI list, including editing the value sent.
I use an MC8 with the Fullerton plugin and have toggle switches set to send 127 for on and 0 for off. in the MC8 display, the label is in all caps for on, and lower case for off. With the Fullerton plugin, some of the switches are inverted and I need a way to change bypass on for 0 and off for 127.

Oddly is works right for the Delay block, but is inverted for all the other blocks.

Hi Jim. We'll look at that for a future version.
Allow editing in the MIDI list
This was on the road map but was put on hold for a future update. We'll need to look into an "Invert" option, but if you'll send an email to support@fractalaudio.com I will also check to see if your report about some switches already being inverted isn't actually a bug.
