View 2 question

As I understand it view 2 only lets me have only three extra switches, the remaining three from view one. For someone coming frim the FM3, I really thought that in view 2 I’ll have 9 more too. Isnt there a way around it? it is such a waste to not be able to use those remaing six switches

All layouts have 12 switches. That consistency allows you to use the same layouts when you attach an FC-6 or FC-12.

The FM3 has three footswitches, so you need to use four views to see them all. The FM9 has nine footswitches, so the entire layout can be seen in two views. The FC-12 has 12 footswitches, so an entire layout can all be seen in one view.
