VHT 2502 owners, how do you prefer the VOICING switch?

The VOICING switch on the 2502 causes quite some significant changes.

I can't make up my mind, how do you set yours in conjunction with volume, presence, depth?
 
Yeah, I agree with both on this. Try a few different things and see what works. It is nice to have the difference as Cliff mentions, where one side is on and the other is off. Then you get "Full Flavor" :cool:
 
I recently had a 2/50/2 and now have a 2/90/2. Aside from the difference in basic power amp tone...the voicing, presence and depth controls function virtually the same.

With that...I leave the voicing out...always. It gets way to sizzly for me with it in. The presence stays at noon unless I need an instant increase in cut and the depth is at noon pretty much all the time.

95+% of my tone controlling is in the AxeFx or the preamp/s I run.
 
I have voicing ON with the channel, which feeds my 4x12 V30 caqbinet. I have it OFF for the 2x12 G12T75 cabinet.
