Version infomation could not be queried

I just updated to 15.07 and updated both fractalbot/axe edit. Now I open axe-edit and get this message and it says Disconnected on the top left. How can I solve this issue?

I had the same issue yesterday. I was using axe edit from a previous session which I did not shut down.
I turned off the axefx, rebooted the Mac, opened AxeEdit again & it worked fine. I have a bad habit of not shutting down axeedit at the end of a session & I am guessing that is what that is about.

Is the Axe-FX 2 working normally? If you click on the Axe-Edit logo what version number is displayed? Have you tried re-installing Axe-Edit? (Assuming unit is behaving normally.) The correct version of Axe-Edit for 15.07 should be 3.01.00. Also what OS are you running?
 
make sure you are using the latest Axe-edit
go to settings-preferences, make sure the Axe-fx ports are selected.
