Verb pedal to combine with Ax8?

My main intention is to have essentially one normal verb whilst another is a bus for big ambient sounds. Because I only have one verb I'm running into a bit of trouble.

- Strymon Bigsky (can use midi with it?)
- Stereo wet
- Boss rv5
- Eventide H9

What do you guys think?

If I were to use an outboard pedal I would go for the H9.

If you go h9 you'll have the option to use it for other things should you need it.

been contemplating an h9 for my ax8 as well. w/o the verb block you can get a lot out of a preset

H9 - Killer pedal for a lot of things. Great verbs - great pitch. Very easy to handle - all from Ipad.

H9 is the obvious choice for flexibility. Big Sky has the most fantastic factory presets.

BUT, that new Empress Reverb pedal looks real darn purdy. It can do MIDI presets if you add an Empress MIDI control adapter.
