im noticing on all the good tones on this forum no one uses the mic simulations,
im thinking that is key.

Note: if you use the Red Wire IR's; they have the mic as part of the IR.

To the OP: fantastic tone. Do post a 'Tweak' thread and teach us how you got your tone dialed; it's a great sound.... and playing on top of it. Great stuff.

By the way, what's driving your drum sound, Addictive Drums? Superior Drummer?

My main issue was to remove the loads of low ends you get when you push this amp.
Setting the TS808 low cut pretty high helps a lot.
The IR is a 1956 Jensen P12R 2''.
I am looking forward to trying the far fields IRs.
For the cross stick sound, I have no Idea of what is used, I have just downloaded the BT somewhere on the net...
 
Cool tone man. Nice. I love the brownface 808 combo. I fool around with multiple cabs sometimes. My favorite mix is a greenback and ev12L together. Kicks ass! Very SRV.
 
I used a Fender Strat 65 Time machine and the preset posted above direct in Cubase

I recorded one shot, over a BT found on the web.

Sorry, but I don't remember that.
The problem is that, once you have uploaded your IRs in the Axe, there is no way to know which is which...
