Using the Axe at Easter service?

TonyGring

Inspired
Just wondering how many will be using their Axe for Easter services across the USA and elsewhere. I'll be at the Santa Barbara Courthouse sunken gardens at 9:30 am. Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara ( my church ) has been doing it for about 12 years. 6000 people expected to attend. 140,000 watt full pro sound system. My first big system to hear the Axe through. Excited about the service and hearing the Axe. Happy Easter everyone!

Same here..

Lets just say the Axe is heard in every service the gospel is preached  . It has become the "standard".

I will be too...missing out on the free food for early morning rehearsals.

Everlasting God
Your Grace is Enough
God So Loved
At the Foot of the Cross
Amazing Grace (My chains Are gone)

I just got back from rehearsal in the auditorium. We go off campus so that we can combine everyone into one service. The gizmo performed wonderfully. Love that thing. Our set list for tomorrow is:

Where would I be
You are Great
Amazing Grace
Grace Like Rain

Using the Axe for the first time ever in a worship setting at our Messianic Jewish congregation. We're celebrating the last night of Passover with a formal Seder interspersed with special music:

Song of Triumph
(Matthew Casey)
L'Shana HaBa'a b'Yerushalayim
(Next Year in Jerusalem)
Eliyahu HaNavi
(Elijah the Prophet)
Dayenu (it would have been enough)
Lamb of G-d (Marty Goetz)

Not quite Easter...but...not exactly off topic either... ;)

Shalom

Just received my Ultra on Thursday afternoon. I would have been playing thru it if I had received it a week earlier when I expected it. I've got some patches to build before I reveal my new rig!

So for this weekend it's still the Vetta. Next weekend - bring on the Ultra!

We had 2 services tonight at 4 and 6, and 3 more tomorrow at 8:30, 10 and 11:30.

Set List:
My Savior Lives
Salvation Is Here
Jesus Paid It All
Mighty To Save

Happy Easter. My Savior Lives!

I love the standard! and it cost what I had available to spend Hah.

Our set list is...
Jesus is Alive (unsure...)
For All You've Done (uncertain?....)
I Call Your Name (just learned it and cant remember writer)
All Consuming Fire (Misty Edwards - Great song - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2eB1c8Jyd8 )

I normally keep better track of artists but a few of these are new songs (to us at least) I haven't heard as much as I normally would.
