Using FAS Link II for Ext Pwr

This seems like a simple task as long as you have your pin assignments correct. So I'm asking for help. I would like to power my Shure GLXD (12V, center Neg).

Do I use conventional XLR pin assignments? i.e. pin 1 is Neg, pin 2 is Hot? If so I'm getting 14.64V.
If I use pin 2 as Hot and pin 3 as Neg I get 11.07V.

I just need to confirm which FASLINKII pins I should use for the Shure's center neg and which for the hot. Thanks in advance!

Forgive my naïveté, what is the Shure GLXD? A wireless device? IIRC FASLINKII connections are proprietary for FAS connections only, and will not support 3rd party devices. Connecting them might even damage your external device, so I'd personally not recommend it.

Someone who has more experience with wireless devices will need to chime in. But yeah, FASLINKII connections are proprietary for FAS devices only.

Personally, I'd stick a small battery eliminator under my board or wherever it'd fit, rather than hack the unit.
