Using external switches

Hi guys

My tiny christmas shopping turned out to be a fluke. 1)I bought a zoom pedal which is not compatible. Sturdy design but please don't buy it. I thought all expression pedals were the same :(

The second thing I bought was a Foot switch. I'm not so great at doing research it seems because It's an 'on off' switcher and not a momentary switch. Which means I have to press it twice for it to do something. And the 'hold' function does not work at all.

Anyone got anytips on how to fix it? :(
Or should I just buy a whole new switch?
 
As you discovered, latching switches won’t do the job. You’ll need to get momentary switches instead.
 
I bought below dual switch and expression pedal. They work great with the FM3. Just need TRS cables.
