Using Axe Fx's Cabinet simulator only for Real Amp

Hi guys

Maybe this is already gone over but I can't find really anything on it. I really love the whole fractal system, but if I have an amp that may not be on the Amps that are given in the Axe Fx and a cabinet simulation that I love in the axe fx, would there be a way to use the axe fx just as a cabinet simulator like the Torpedo? I know it won't take the load of a read amp, but curious if other people have figured out a way to do this. Thanks!

amp > speaker out > load box > axe fx > daw

If you like the Axe stomp boxes, put the amp and load box in the Axe FX loop and build a preset accordingly.

I do it with a THD Univalve some times. On the back in an instrument-level output that I use.
According to Andy Marshall from THD, the Hot Plate can also be used the same way.
