Using A Guitar Cable For Output 2

What I'm looking to do is use "dual-chain" presets where one chain will split off from the "main" chain and end with an FX LOOP block which will be routed via OUTPUT 2 to the line input of my audio interface. This will allow me to record stereo via S/PDIF and record mono via OUTPUT 2 at the same time.

My question is this: Can I use a Canare GS-6 unbalanced guitar cable to connect OUTPUT 2 to the line level input of my audio interface? Or should I buy a TRS to TRS cable and use Canare L-4E6S microphone cable instead? Which would be better?

I have Canare GS-6 cables on hand and if I could get away with using them and still retain quality, it would save me money from having to buy new cables.

Thanks, javajunkie. Would instrument cable such as the GS-6 be appropriate or should I use microphone cable like the L-4E6S?
