USB playback issue no sound from laptop

I want to play jam tracks from my laptop thru USB into the FM and have the sound come out my Speaker vis output 1.
The USB transfer data back & forth but the sound from my laptop still goes through the internal speaker.
The laptop is up to date. I reloaded the FM3 USB drivers. Any help would be great. Thanks
 
You have to tell your computer to use the FM3 instead of its internal speakers. If you're running Windows, use "Sound settings."
 
Thanks. The problem is the computer does not see the FM3 as speaker choice. The message is device cannot start. I uninstalled the USB drivers and reloaded same error.
