USB input, Volume knob and Headphone output

USB stereo mix from computer via USB does not go to 0 volume when the knob is turned all of the way down. The AxeFX's effected sound does go to 0 but I still hear the stereo mix at a substantial volume. What am I doing wrong?

USB mac out to AxeFX USB in
AxeFX II input set to front
Headphones connected to AxeFX II
Firmware 2.0

Same issue here. Also when turn on the unit and the out1 volume is on 0, I hear audio from only left channel and with pretty high volume. Turn the volume a bit up then it's back to normal.

The output volume knob does not control the USB volume. You control that in your DAW.

Yes it does. I don't know if that's what you intended in the software but:

Headphones plugged into Axe, Input 1 set to anything but USB Input, Output 1 knob at 0% : yields low/medium sound from USB input.
at 100% : really loud USB and AxeFX.

In other words, the USB volume goes from about 10% to 100% as you turn the Output knob. And yes, you can change the USB input volume by changing the source level but one would expect that even if the source level is at 100%, setting the Output 1 knob to 0% would yield silence.
